In my last story, you know that I am in Barabai. My parents are from Barabai but they are in different areas. My dad is from Desa Rasau or Palajau and my mom is from Desa Darat or Desa Pandawan.
There is a unique routine in Desa Pandawan to celebrate Ied Fitr. It names Meriam Karbit. Meriam Karbit is like a fire war. It is followed by two village.
Meriam Karbit is made from Pohon Enau or Pohon Aren that has a big diameters and twined by rotan. We ignite it with karbit. So, it makes a sound so loud. It is held at second night of Syawal. You can watch this video to want to know more. Wassalamualaikum.
